As predicted, the snow arrived overnight. It was a pretty sight this morning with everything covered with a blanket of white. Tonight the temperature will dip to around 17°F or -8°C. The snow won’t be around long though because the weather people are saying that by the weekend, we will have 70°F or 21°C. So as you can see, around here snow can come and go in a very short amount of time. I took my camera and took some photos before it disappears. These first pictures are from around my house, while the ones after were taken in an area about 2 miles away.
These were taken in my back yard.
The following photos were taken not too far from where I live. I thought these chairs looked a bit forlorn in the snow.
This scene looked especially magical with its snow laden trees lining the street.
We discovered this cemetery tucked away near a little country church. This section seemed to be so peaceful under the trees.
Beautiful photos Ginger.

Oh Ginger...such lovely photos. I love the snow...but I am just about ready for spring now!
ReplyDeleteLove that little cemetery pic...an interesting little photo. And the blossoms on the tree...hopefully hasn't done any damage.
Take care,
Hugs, Nancy
Oh wow! Absolute magic. We, in Johannesburg, almost never see snow and your pics are such a treat. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeletebeatufil photos!, specially the pink blossom.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. But the weekend is going to be 70? Thats just too weird, snow then sunshine. We are lucky to get 70 degrees in the summer although in the UK I think we need and deserve a good summer this year. The last two have been washouts.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, snow is so magical isn't it.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are so beautiful. I am so tired of the cold but those almost make me want some snow lol :)
