Yep. My mom would have loved this party. It was a birthday party for a couple of people I know. And the attire of the day was TACKY. Yep, tacky. It was a Tacky with a capital “T” Birthday Party. When we were young, my mom would let us know what was acceptable and what was tacky - whether it was behavior or fashion. If she saw us at this party, I’ll bet she would wonder just how well she taught us while laughing the whole entire time. If we learned how to coordinate color and pattern when we were young, this party was a definite example of how not to dress. It brings to mind the quote from my sidebar, “If you can’t be a good example, you’ll just have to be a terrible warning.” In order to protect the innocent, I have chosen to hide the identities of the party guests. Really, would you want to be caught wearing these fashions?
Wonderful! I love tacky! Three cheers for tacky!!!
