Yes, sadly, it is true. Sometimes good boxes go bad. It’s not entirely the box’s fault of course. Sometimes it has something to do with someone not knowing the best method for achieving a desired outcome.
Therefore, the first attempt becomes lesson one.
The second attempt becomes lesson two.
Then, if you are lucky, someone (like your daughter, maybe) tells you about a medium that is new to you.
At this point after several failed attempts, you really have nothing to lose. And it really is sad to see a good box go bad.
This is the medium I am trying.
It is a dry powdery substance.
Until you add water and mix.
Then it looks like gray oatmeal.
But it dries nearly white and looks like it would be easy to paint.
I am still working on it, but it seems promising so far.
In the meantime, I hope to enjoy a beautiful Fourth of July. I hope you have a nice one too!
