to arrrrrrr is pirate. Aye, Matey and there were lots of pirates at the Teddy Bear Artist Invitational Benefit Gala this evening. So many pirates, so little time.
Let’s begin with a little pirate. Be careful. He’ll steal your heart.
Just between you and me, I’d walk the plank for this crazy buccaneer anytime.
Below is Teddy 2011 created by Sharon Barron. Sebastian was in good company all around.
He met some famous, oh so famous, pirates like Meg Jackson who also traveled from North Carolina.
Treasure was abundant if you could wrestle it away from these guys.
Fellow artist/pirate Martha Bumula and her very own pirate husband, Mark.
Pirates can be ruthless, but I have a feeling some of them have a warm and fuzzy side.
Yours truly with Pirate Leader, Cindy Malchoff – instigator of all manner of mayhem. Also known as the TBAI Chairman. That’s one creative pirate there – made her own costume. Yep she did. And she has so little to do . . .
If you ask me, these guys are too cute to be locked up. But alas, they didn’t ask me. Perhaps we’ll spring them later.
Ah, it’s Sebastian again, hobnobbing with Cheryl Hutchinson of Bingle Bears who was just recently featured as one of several new artists in Teddy Bear and Friends magazine. Way to go Sebastian.
He likes ‘em pretty!
Arrrrh. It’s them again! The pirates with glasses! Sebastian should know better, but I fear it’s too late for the little bear.
Had he only known when he was camping out what he
was getting himself into on this trip. Oh well.
Some of ‘em have to learn the hard way.
