One of my favorite places to visit to get in the spirit for the holidays is The Container Store.
Last year I posted photos of their Christmas wrappings display. This year, quite by accident, I was there when they were in the midst of putting it out.
How exciting!
I got to see things being unpacked from boxes and arranged just so.
And that was back in October!
It gave me a little boost of adrenaline to see all the pretty things.
I waited until now to post these photos because
#1 – It was STILL October and
#2 – It wasn’t EVEN November yet and
#3 – I wasn’t quite prepared to embrace the whole “Get ready. It’s coming!” scenario.
Now, it is December and time to turn my attention to these seasonal sorts of things – decorations, holiday happenings, presents and wrapping paper.
It has sort of snuck up on me while I was doing other things, but this could turn out in my favor.
I will have to start being very purposeful sometime soon – oh, let’s say, next week? That gives me at least a couple of weeks to get my act together. Piece of cake . . .
I am so envious you live near one of these... why do they dislike Michigan? WHY???
ReplyDeleteOooooh, so pretty! Probably a good thing they don't have them here!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have container stores here in South Australia either. I looks like I could spend money in that store.

My daughter loves that store. They had one in Birmingham and she was so sad to see it close but she says they're opening one in Memphis and she is planning a weekend there in January.
ReplyDeleteI love those treat containers. So much better than just bags.
I haven't done much decorating. This weekend I plan to start getting serious.I went to a B&B today that had 105 trees. It was glorious.
