Sometimes when you have a curious little bear like Sebastian around, you find yourself answering questions that had never occurred to you before. Like why a bunny has a fluffy white tail.
And why Sebastian does not have a fluffy white tail. I had to tell him about evolution which he said was too convoluted.
And why the bunny wears a strawberry around his neck. I had to tell him the bunny loved strawberries.
Then there are times when you have a curious little bear like Sebastian around, you find yourself making rules for things that had never occurred to you before. Rules like “No swapsies” when he asked if he could trade his tiny jingle bell for the bunny’s strawberry.
Yeah, it can be kind of strange around here sometimes, but it’s not anything a chocolate chip cookie can’t cure.
Hi Sebastian, How do they think we are going to learn if we don't ask questions. I keep wondering why bears don't have big fluffy tails like a fox??? (No one has ever told me.) is it that birds and bees talk they are always going to give me.
ReplyDeleteWho knows!!!!
Hugs Wilbur.
Hi Wilbur,
DeleteI have passed along your message to Sebastian. He says to tell you that he enjoys asking loads of questions just to see the facial expressions that I can make. Now he wants to know how many muscles are in a person's face. Perhaps now is a good time for a cookie.

How can you ever say no to that face. I would be giving him everything he wanted.
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne,
DeleteI think that's how this all began - that face - the first time he knew he could go along with us!
You are very sweet and Sebastian says to say hello to you for him.

Question "break" for a cookie is a good deal! You've spoilt Sebastian! Oops!
ReplyDeleteHi Val,
DeleteI know. I know. It's way too late now, huh?

Hi Sebastian!
ReplyDeleteSwapsies are so nice... I Love swapsies and chocolate chip cookies like you do :)
Hugs
Kikka
Hi Kikka,
DeleteYou should come over for a picnic sometime! It would be easy to fix for you and Sebastian.

Hmm... Strawberries are fun and bright and cheery, but jingle bells are just plain special, I think! So I think Sebastian has the better deal. :) (Just don't tell the bunny I said that!) Another adorable bunny, too, by the looks of it!!

Hi Kay Joy,
DeleteYou and I agree on this very much! Jingle bells are just special, aren't they? The bunny also has a bell, but Sebastian will remain without a strawberry for now - But, he does have cookies!

What sweet little friends.
ReplyDeleteHi Chris,
DeleteThank you! :)

Well at least it was bells and strawberries that Sebastian was worried about, over in Ireland it was Guinness or vodka!
ReplyDeleteAnd at least he didn't want to swap his bell for a Guiness!
