Thank you all for your kind encouragement on my first ever balloon trip. I am sending you this update from far, far away from my home. You see, the winds reversed their normal course and they carried me westward. I don’t know if you were able to recognize Mount Hood in the photo of my last report. My paw sort of ended up in front of the lens. Sorry about that. Here’s a better picture.
Anyway, as I was about to tell you, I ran into a bit of weather out west. My balloons got all tangled up in the huge trees in the forest there. I had to make an emergency landing and figure out how I could repair my craft so I could get back in the air and on my way home. Fortunately I happened to land in the Magical Forest of the Easter Bunnies and Chicks. The bunnies and chicks told me they could help me out even though I would probably attract a lot of attention.
I had no way to pay them for their help but they had an idea. They would help me get my basket airborne again if I would give them a ride to Seattle. They had some Easter egg hiding to do for the children there and they would love to travel by egg balloons. I knew I didn’t have many options so I agreed.
Those Easter eggs were not only magical they were quite the sight – all those colorful egg balloons up in the air.
The basket was kind of crowded with the three bunnies and all those chicks. I never did get a chance to ask the little pink chickie why she wasn’t yellow colored like the rest of them. It might have been a good thing I didn’t ask – she might have been sensitive about it.
I did learn that while bunny ears may be very, very soft, they also tickle if they get too close to your nose!
After saying goodbye to this crowd, I am going to try to make my way back home. I don’t think these magical egg balloons will be much good for flying after Easter is over.
Have a wonderfully joyful and magical Easter!
Hi Sebastian,
ReplyDeletePlease make sure you are home for Easter.
Hugs ♥
Prudence
Hi Prudence,
DeleteI daresay that I think I should be home and ready to eat some chocolate bunnies by Easter. Anyways, what fun could they have on Easter without ME?!
hugs,
Sebastian
Hi Sebastian, I have been worried about you. What if you got caught up in a tornado, or lightning storm, I shudder to think. It is time you came home and put two paws on the ground. I don't want you to have any accidents.
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice of you to give those chickens and bunnies a ride. You need to go home to see if Easter bunny came.
Hugs Wilbur.
Hi Wilbur,
DeleteNow don't you worry! I have a special force field around me. It just didn't seem to be working when I encountered those huge trees. Nevertheless, I appreciate your concern and I certainly will be on the lookout for the Easter bunny from the comfort of my very own sweet little bed!
hugs,
Sebastian
Sebastian, it's so good to know your little accident with the tree turned out fine after all. Phew! You were so kind to take the bunnies and chickies to their destination. Have a fantastic Easter, and do share your chocolate eggs with dear Ginger. :) Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHi Val,
DeleteYes, I don't know how I didn't see that tree. It certainly was big enough! I guess I'll have to share the eggs - she might love chocolate as much as I do.
See you soon!
hugs,
Sebastian
Oh no, nothing worse than bunny ears up your nose... We do like your magical egg balloons though, lets hope for strong winds to carry you home again, then you can eat them :o)

Jack and The Clan
Hi Jack and The Clan,
DeleteYes. They do tickle, tickle, tickle! And if you can't reach it, it's . . . it's . . . it's maddening! I'll be home again very very soon!
See you then.
hugs,
Sebastian
Hi Sebastian! It looks like you have had a magical trip so far! :) It was so nice of you to take the bunnies and chicks to Seattle. And those balloons look great - it isn't everyone that gets to ride in a basket with Easter egg balloons! Hope you have a nice ride back. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kay Joy,
DeleteYes, it has been quite magical because everything looks like a doll city from up here. I'm pretty sure the chicks and bunnies enjoyed their ride but I still have a few feathers floating around and my nose still itches!
Thank you for the well wishes!
hugs,
Sebastian
oh, it would be a dream to take this egg balloon ride, i wanna to go UP with Sebastian too.
ReplyDeleteHi susana,
DeleteI would love to take you with me on a ride. Maybe next time we could go to someplace exotic!
That would be great!
Hugs,
Sebastian
Hi Sebastian... Wow, Magical like a flight! So nice of You to take us all with you to the visit to Seattle! Love that City! Did you go up the SpaceNeedle? Happy Easter!
ReplyDelete:)
Hi Kikka,
DeleteI can honestly say it was definitely a unique way to travel. Yes, Seattle was great but I only saw it from the air for the most part. The space needle was an awesome sight. (But then that's what a lot of people said about my vehicle too!)
hugs,
Sebastian
I'm amazed you didn't sneeze yourself right out of the basket, tickling your nose like that on bunny ears!!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather,
DeleteYou just don't know how close I came but when I saw how far it was to the ground, I decided watery eyes and a tickle nose was better! Whew!
hugs,
Sebastian
It is magical....
