The Ballgame by Sebastian

While we were at the beach, I heard something about a ballgame. I had never been to a ballgame. So I asked “What kind of ballgame?” And I was told it was a baseball game.

You know where they have fans in the stadium seats, a pitcher on the mound and a batter? It all sounded exciting!

Then they told me I might be able to play. Me? Play baseball? I was very confused. That is until I found out it was a pinball baseball game.

Since it was all new to me I had to watch a couple of times to find out how it works.

Maybe you’d like to know too? Here I’ll give a short tutorial. First you have the ‘PITCH’ button. When it lights up you push it and the pitch is thrown.

Then there’s this little lever that you flick to hit the ball when it is released. You have to be fast. Very fast. If you hit the ball to the right places, the hitters ‘run’ around the bases. I love that part. The other people there looked at me like I was crazy when I cheered them on.

Turns out I had a good reason to cheer. I got 19 runs for a win! Well, I had a little help.

But a win is a win right? Turns out I’m a natural! Maybe one day they’ll make a movie about me.

    1. Hi Jack and The Clan,

You know if they do make that movie, and I'm sure they will sometime or other, they might need some extras. You know, to be the other players on the team?? So if you want, I'll give 'em your names!

      hugs,

  3. Good show, Sebastian. You never know who was watching, you may be called from one of the minor leagues, then onto bigger horizons - the majors. You never know...

Maybe you should start practice writing your autograph.

  4. Sebastian,
You are a winner. Hooray. Looks as though that game was great fun. You sure would have to be watching very closely.
Did you win a prize from the Top Shelf. Granny says hardly any one wins form the TOP shelf.

    1. Hi Wilbur,

Thanks friend! The game was fun and I'm sure two bears would have been better than one. Tell your Granny that maybe she just needs a little more practice. Then, of course, sometimes it's just luck!

      hugs,
      Sebastian
