Fairy Berry Birthday Feast

As promised, today is the day. The day I am sharing the whole entire piece you have been seeing glimpses of for the last few posts. It is called the Fairy Berry Birthday Feast. We’ll call it the Fairy Feast in the interest of brevity.

Here’s a look at the Fairy Feast before it is populated. It shows you how all the parts and pieces, the bits and bobs, the doodads and hoo-ha’s fit together.

fbbf_1

Here’s a different perspective.

fbbf_2

And another. In this one you can see the table all set and the buffet in the back.

fbbf_3

But where oh where are the party guests?

Let’s see. Oh, there’s the Fairy Feast, way over there.

fbbf_4

We don’t want to sneak up on them too suddenly. Let’s just sort of walk quietly to see if we can eavesdrop.

fbbf_5

I don’t even think they know we are here, do you? See all the guests? There’s five little fairy bears in various sizes, a bird, a turtle and a bee.

fbbf_6

Let’s get a little closer to see if we can hear what they are saying. I think they might be singing the birthday song.

fbbf_7

Would you look at that? Five different colored little fairy bears with their wings and ribbons having a feast in the forest. I wonder if they would mind if I crashed their party.

fbbf_8

I’m going to see if I can find that bottle that Alice drank from and shrink down really small. I’d really like to eat one of those cupcakes!

fbbf_9

What’s that you say? The fairies are saying something. Could you repeat that? Sure, I’ll tell them.

fbbf_10

The fairies wanted me to say thank you for your patience and enthusiasm. They want to propose a toast. “To the best blog readers in blogland – cheers!” Thanks from me and all the fairies!

    1. Hi Kays Kids,

That is a terrific way of seeing you have! Thank you so much. I think a fairy dance would be just the thing - dance off the cupcakes! Oh that would be me. Fairies obviously don't have such concerns!

  9. Ok, I just don't think I could sit next to a bumblebee, even if I was a fairy!! :) Love to look at them and watch them, just would rather sit across from it so I could see what it was up to! LOL Anyway, this is a work of art!! Those little fairy bears are adorable, and the feast looks scrumptious. So very lifelike!!

  11. My goodness but you've been a very busy bear and set maker since I've last checked in! So very marvelous it all is Ginger, I love it, so perfect a backdrop for the little Fae bears! It reminds of my times as a child in the woods behind my home where the soft green mosses grew. I'd spend hours playing house and such with my doll & bear friends there. I've been collecting more & more bears of color lately, love your pastel ones here. Beautiful!

    1. Hi Ani,

Thank you Ani. I had a friend who showed me the wonders of moss when we were little. Such a great thing to spur the imagination, don't you think? I came home from her house and went straight for the moss in our backyard.

I'm glad you like the pastel colors!

      Thanks a bunch!
