Meanwhile, back at the ranch . . .

Isn’t that an amusing segue to share the following photos? Maybe I will make a habit of using it to refer to the work in progress on my table. After all, we have no ranch so it is probably the only way I will ever get to say it legitimately.

To me, these three look a lot different. Do they look a lot different to you? They are various sizes, various fabrics, and various patterns but do you see a family resemblance?

While I await your analysis, I will go and saddle up Ol’ Paint (aka my sewing machine). We might have to take a ride across the range to check on the fences.

  1. What an interesting trial. I think the first picture and the last have a similar look, but not the middle one. I know how fur can make a big difference. Love the three of them.

  2. Hi Ginger,

Of course they look different - they are 3 little bears, each with his/her own personality. My favorite is #2 with that little pouty face - I am in love!

    1. Hi The Bear's Blog,

Your seeing them as all different little 'personalities' is a good way of looking at it. The middle one is happy you have singled him out!

      Thank you,

  5. I do believe that each little one has his very own personality so, yes, there most definately is a difference!

    1. Hi Michelle,

I think the artist in me likes the excitement of how each one will turn out. I could make the same thing over and over but I think I would go nuts doing it. I like the difference and thank you for stopping by to give your input!

    1. Hi Kay Joy,

You are in good company with your thoughts and I do appreciate your taking the time to share them here. I'm glad you like the 2nd one too. I liked that style so much that I had to try it in a couple of different colors of mohair and viscose. Some of them just appeal to me that way.

      Thank you so much!

  7. Well I think there's a definite family resemblance to us all, but they definitely each have their own characters (as do we all!)

    1. Hi Jack,

If anyone would know, I think it would be some bear like you. Your family tree has definite connections.

Yes, we do have our own characters and some of us are characters! (Sebastian begs to disagree!)

Thanks Jack! Give my regards to The Clan.

  8. Hi Ginger,
I'll add my bit to the comments. Definite family resemblance, but also unique little personalities. (1) I am cute, don't you think? (2) I am king of the world! (3) Save me, Mum!

    1. Hi Kayzy,

Your comments are always welcome and appreciated. I'm glad that you interpreted their expressions. I don't know if I could have figured that out on my own. Perhaps you need a job as a bear translator?

      Happy Day!

    1. Hi Sharon,

Sebastian will be pleased to hear they take after him. He's always looking for recruits to his cause - being cookies and milk.

Yes, he has influence - sometimes I wonder how he got it!

Thanks for reading! Love your veggie garden!
