Sebastian reporting

from the road. That’s my job. I’m a jack-of-all-trades only my name isn’t Jack. I was given this assignment earlier today. Here’s how it went down.

I knew it was a long drive to our destination (TBAI) and I wanted to get there fast! But I was told we were taking the scenic route. That means we won’t get there as fast but it should be filled with scenics. I was to be in charge of telling you all about it.

So far, I’ve seen barns, cows, little tiny towns, trees and old, very old, houses. I’ve seen them whiz by in a blur. So I decided to ask, “Am I, or am I not, supposed to be reporting from the road?” And the answer I got back was “Of course.” So I continued, “And are we, or are we not, supposed to taking the scenic route?” And the answer was, again, “Of course.”

I thought and I thought. Then I thought some more. I must have pondered things for at least one hundred miles from my perch on the dashboard. Finally, we stopped here.

This is the hallway in our hotel. I do not see any scenics, do you?

Then I poked you know who in the ankle and said “Hey, you gotta give me something to share or else I’m not much of a reporter.”

This is it.

They were getting ready to turn in for the night and I was just about to bust. “Hey, you two! Where are the scenics?! I want to show these fine folks in blogland some scenics.”

And just as the light went out, they said, “Tomorrow Sebastian. You will get to see some scenics tomorrow. Now sleep tight and don’t let the bedbugs bite.”

In the dark of the room, I shouted, “Bedbugs! This place has bedbugs?! What kind of joint is this?!”

Then I heard, “Goodnight Sebastian. You’ll get pancakes for breakfast if you are good.”

And that’s the way it is…

Goodnight everyone.

Sebastian signing off until next time.

  1. Sebastian, that is what my Granny says to me. Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite. I don't like that very mush.
We are all looking forward to hearing about what you see tomorrow.

    1. Hi Jack!

Nice to hear from you. Of course I knew you would have some input on being Jack-of-all-trades. Note the capital letter! And you are.

I'm sure you could show me where to find the pretty carpets but you know, I'm at the mercy of others.

Maybe today I'll see somethin' interesting!

      hugs,
      Sebastian

  4. Hi Sebastian! I do like the scenics you've found so far. What a gorgeous view! Hope you see lots more scenery today. Did you get pancakes for breakfast? Maybe even...chocolate chip pancakes? Have fun at the TBAI this weekend!

    1. Hi Kay Joy,

I'm so glad that you like them. It was a pretty view. For breakfast I had a choice of pancakes, waffles, french toast and a whole bunch of other things. I told them I wanted one of each. They giggled and I didn't know why until they brought out the waffle and it was bigger than me!

      I promise to have fun!
      hugs,
      Sebastian

  5. OMGoodness Sebastian you are such a trooper. I hope you get those pancakes and are treated with a little more respect. You can always come here and we have NO bedbugs.

  6. Hello Auntie Sharon,

Will your Teddy mind if I come and stay? I know he's the one in charge - next to you of course. I did get my pancakes, waffles and so much more. Of course, I had enough to share with the whole entire hotel but I rather think that's beside the point.

Thank you for your concern! And for the options!
    hugs,
    Sebastian

  7. HI Sebastian,

I know what you're talking about. I get taken places and my whole life is about reporting from the road. So what do I get? Hotels, hotels and more hotels - 'cept of course the Bearlympics, I can't complain about them can I? Or the trains, I suppose they're alright, and meeting up with Jack. Of course there was Indier too and the Tiggers. Oh alright then I do get to see a lot I suppose, so maybe you will too.

Bed bugs, nope I wouldn't stay there either, but man you should have SEEN the creepy crawlies in Indier. Of course there is always the promise of pancakes. I hope you got some.

    Hugs,

    Jock

    1. Hi Jock,

You are my mentor so I hope that you don't get eaten by a tigger! Are they very bouncy at all? I heard they were and then I heard they weren't.

I'm sure you have loads of tales to tell so I'll be waiting to read your next adventure.

      hugs,
      Sebastian
