A few photos

from my table throughout the evening. I am working on this while thinking of a couple other things I want to try. And I am planning my strategy for a couple of other other things that I have lined up to work on. H-m-m-m.

Have a great weekend!

    1. Hello Rosethé,

Yes, this is how I begin them. Everyone has their own way of creating a bear; this is the way I've worked it out.

      Thanks so much!

    1. Hi Bonnie,

I show these photos because I think the process is fun and it shows the steps that I go through - perhaps it helps some people understand the evolution from fur to face.

Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comment!

  5. AAAAAAAAGH - pause while bear faints and is revived with a spoonful of honey. You and your horror stories in reverse - you should put at least a BG rating on the blog sometimes. That said the final shot is really lovely. You tomind me of LT, always doing stuff, though I bet you don't have your Dad chasing you up the Interstate if you leave your sewing machine at his place.

    1. Hi Jock and Louie,

I had a feeling that this might cause a little bit of trauma in your home but I thought with all you have seen here on this blog you might start reading with your paws over your eyes and only peeking slightly to begin with. Perhaps I should start a rating system for those, like you, who are a bit squeamish.

I think it is very noble of Alan to chase LT down the interstate - lucky she stopped for a moment since she seemed to be testing the sound barrier ( ha ha! I kid!). I think Alan is an upstanding kind of dad - and bear keeper!

all the best to you over the pond,

  7. Sebastian, your mum makes beautiful bears on her table. Do you help? Sometimes I get told I'm in the way.
