Ingenuity. by Sebastian

Finally, it’s my turn. I have been waiting forever for a chance to write a post. And here I am. I thought I would tell you about my mysterious adventure to a tropical planet. At least that is what it seemed like to me.

I looked out the window of my spaceship and saw these floating orbs. It was all very surreal. I think I must have been the first teddy bear to visit.

i_2

Just to prove I was really there – in case you didn’t believe me – here’s a picture of me in front of one of the mystical spheres as I made my way to my destination. The transportation vehicle was unusual because it lacked a steering device but it could read your mind to figure out where you wanted to go.

i_3

My favorite part of the trip was whiling away time on my very own personal tropical island with exotic vegetation. Purple trees and pointy odd-looking plants. The service wasn’t quite up to par since I requested a nice lemonade with a fancy umbrella to be delivered but it never showed up.

i_4

Oh, okay! I’ll come clean. I really didn’t go on a spaceship to a tropical planet! Did you believe me even for a minute? Here’s what the orbs really looked like without the fancy effects of the camera I was using. Can you guess what they are?

i_5

How about now? You can see this one a little closer. Notice the circular plugs in those round things. Does that give you any clues? And yeah, that’s a human hand – not a transportation vehicle.

i_6

This was my tropical island – not exactly paradise but a planter. It is just my size though. With just the right amount of imagination it could easily be a tropical escape.

i_7

I guess it’s time to fess up and reveal the location of my mysterious space adventure. Here it is.  A regular ol’ downtown city street.

i_8

I’m convinced that it’s a construction wall – a very creative one at that. And those circular shapes? I’m pretty certain that they are barrel lids. They are the right size and the right shape. My little city is showing some ingenuity! Even the temporary walls are getting to be interesting. Thank you for being a good sport and joining me on my imaginary trip!

  1. Hi my dear buddy, Sebastian, I totally believed that you had a ride in a real space ship. I was feeling a little envious, although Granny says we should never be envious. You see I have always wanted and dreamed I could go right up to the moon, just to see if he eats green cheese. That is what I was told when I was little.
Oh well you and me will still have to dream about it.

    1. Hi Wilbur,

You are always such a good sport! Yes, I also heard that about the man in the moon and the moon was made of cheese. Much less believable than an island on a tropical planet, right? Ha ha!

If I get to go to the moon, I will take you with me!

      hugs,
      Sebastian

  2. Hi Sebastian,

Bearsonally I like your version much better. But, it is a clever way to disguise a construction site. Sometimes humans can be very creative - some times. (o:

We love your imagination - beary creative.

    1. Hi Prudence,

I'm glad you enjoyed my little adventure into my happy imagination. I think humans are fun and funny - although they don't always seem to appreciate it when you tell them. Like if they drop a bag of flour on the floor and it goes everywhere, I think that is very funny and if you double over in laughter, they don't seem to agree with you.

      hugs my dear Prudence,
      Sebastian

  3. Well we are glad you revealed all in the end, we were about to ask if you'd been eating any special brownies lately... Always fun to have interesting construction sites though!

    1. Hi Jack and The Clan,

I won't ask you explain about special brownies because I thought all brownies were special. Brownies and cookies and cupcakes and pies and chocolates - oh my. I think it's time for a snack. Thanks for stopping by friends!

      hugs,
      Sebastian

    1. Hello Contrastes-Rosa Mª,

It was rather a nice and pretty place and it was quite fun to imagine it was something else. Thank you for stopping by to visit me!

  5. Hey Seb, can I call you Seb? It's just that Sebastian Coe gets called Seb and he's a Lord and all, and orgernated the Bearlympics that Jack and I went to. Is he a friend of yours with the same name?
Whatever, I have to agree with Jack about the brownies, or maybe it was mushrooms, but possibly that was the people who painted the wall. It was fun imagining things though. I definitely think it was mean that you didn't get a lemonade or a numbrella, and as for no cookies, well we're fainting at the thought of an adventure without a little snackeral. Looks like you should be reporting someone to the SPCB for failing in their duty.
    Hugs,

    Jock (and Louie too)

    1. Hi Jock (and Louie too),

You can call me anything as long as you don't call me late for dinner. Oh, I know. It's a very bad joke. I stole it from somewhere! :)

I may just have to find a consultant to pursue my claim for unsatisfactory service - maybe they'll compensate me with cookies!

      hugs,
      Sebastian (or Seb to you!)

  7. Hi Sebastian,
The best of trips are the ones we imagine. You've got a great imagination! The way you lead us along this space journey was no less than genious! You should write books or direct movies. We can see you in the director's chair with your name on it and the photography was brilliant! Bravo!! Giggle...
