I am not sure if I am ready to let go of the weekend just yet. And I am fairly certain I am not quite ready to embrace Monday morning. With that in mind, I am sharing a few random photos from the last couple of days that I hope will brighten my Monday morning and maybe yours too.
A view of the North Carolina mountains.
What’s not to love about a sweet little cake shop?
That one on the left? Sweet Potato Spice Cake. Scrumptious.
We didn’t stay here. We just walked around and oohed and aahed and said things like “maybe for our anniversary” and “maybe in the Spring” and “look at that view” “that is an amazing view” and “wow, what a view”.
Words to contemplate around a massive fireplace.
Sebastian meeting a new prickly friend that was being pet-sitted or it that pet-sat?
Finally, a happy little mountain bluebird to wish you a Happy Monday!
esas vistas son preciosas y los pastelitos parecian buenisimos , me alegro de que SebastÃan haga amigos nuevos , unas fotos preciosas , gracias por compartirlas

DeleteWhat a lovely dreamy weekend you had. Your photos speak volumes. What a cute little Hedgie.
ReplyDeleteIt was quite fun and beautiful weather. The hedgehog was very sweet!
DeleteThanks Kay!
Aww, how are little hedgehogs? I've always thought they were cute... but wonder what their personalities are like.
ReplyDeleteHeather,
DeleteMy understanding is that they are similar to hamsters - except the spiky fur! He seemed pretty sweet and his feet are soooo tiny and cute!

Is that the Grove Park Inn? I love that place! When I retire I'm seriously going to see if I can get a part time job there just to be able to sit on that veranda everyday! Lovely pix, thanks for sharing. Ani in Wilmington where it is a glorious day for beaching but I'm stuck at work! Wah!
ReplyDeleteHi Ani,
DeleteI wondered if anyone would recognize it. Yep, that's the Grove Park Inn. It's so beautiful there!
You have a great retirement plan!!! :D

LT definitely didn't want to greet this Monday morning after she stayed up finishing her book til 2am! Honestly, at her age, and on a school night...
ReplyDeleteThat does look like a nice place to visit, especially if you get to play with hodgehegs all day.
