Bookwork in Progress

While Sebastian is plotting planning his next undertaking, I thought I would attempt to make some progress on one of my current projects. I knew this one would be slow going mostly because I’m incorporating my usual method of going forward without a road map. In other words, I’m winging it.

One aspect involves learning how to make some little books. I think there might be some techniques that would increase my proficiency and maybe even my efficiency. I know there are some experts out there that make my head spin with their skill.

Nevertheless, I am moving ahead and learning as I go and making a few mistakes here and there. At the same time, I am realizing that this is a time consuming activity. If you needed any evidence that I’m a brick shy, here you go . . .

As with any project, I find that the details are what makes the difference and I’m hoping that the time I put into these will be worthwhile in the end.

As Sebastian says, “Details – now that’s the sticky part.” He’s such a wise little bear. I do wonder what he’s up to, but I can’t be bothered about that. I’ve got important things to sort out. Now why does that sound strangely familiar?

    1. Hi Lynda,

You are so kind. Thanks! I hope I can hang in there for the duration - they are fiddly!

  2. Okay Sebastian, now's the time to advance with your plans. You know who is way too busy to pay attention to you (how sad is that?).

Go Sebastian, advance, go, go, go. Now's your chance!

    Keep me posted.

    Hugs,
    Prudence

    1. Hi Prudence,

Thank you for being on the lookout for me. I am also moving rather slowly because I want to be very careful that it all goes according to plan. Great ideas sometimes need time to simmer. I am still working so I'll be on the case for sure.

      hugs,
      Sebastian

  3. I'm suspicious of Sebastian being quiet. Something might be up. Wilbur and I just love your little books. They look so professional.
We wonder what program you use to make the photos fade out on the outside. Granny would love to be able to do that.

    1. Hi Wilbur and Granny,

Thank you. Yes, Sebastian is definitely busy with a plan. Should I be worried you think?

I will send you an email on the photos.

    1. Hi Jack and The Clan,

It's shaping up but I dare say, you might be right. It wouldn't be complete without a few of the best bear classics!

    1. Hi Val,

I am taking the liberty of replying to your comment on my own because I wanted to tell you that I have a few books of my own but not my own library. And..... I think that is a FABULOUS idea. I might add that to my list of things that I would like to pursue - right after my current project. Thanks for the suggestion!

      hugs,
      Sebastian
