The boxes went together much easier than I anticipated. The good advice I received helped a lot. The problem with that is now I will look at all my other boxes and say to myself, “Hey, I could put those together.” And I might be going down a whole ‘nother rabbit hole.
After that it was applying new box covers. I like messing about with papers – especially pretty ones. I picked these up about 4 years ago. I usually buy three if I like them, but for some reason I bought four. Call it what you will – divine intervention, luck, karma, serendipity. Whatever. Without it I would be up the creek. This ‘double-wide’ box and the accompanying bits and pieces need all the bits and pieces of paper I have.
This stack of covered boards will be waiting around until the very last of this project before taking their respective places. Who knew what I was thinking?! It gets this way around here sometimes. I’m waiting for that place in the process where I can look at it and think “it’s going according to plan”. Until then I will try to keep the end in mind.
I’m seeing dots and dots. Lots of dots and dots. After which I am going to have to break out my paintbrushes - a temporary change from the glue and paper.
On that note, I will sign off by saying Thanks! Thanks again for reading!

Hi Miss Ginger,
ReplyDeleteHmm, this is a tough puzzle. But, since it's "that time of the year" and you always create a Christmas piece, AND I see red and green.....my guess is it is a Christmas room box. Do I see Longaberger baskets on your work table? We have them too.
Heaps of Hugs

Hi Prudence,
DeleteI think you could very well be onto something.
Yes, Longaberger baskets - they were gifts if I remember correctly.
hugs,

Ho ho ho!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is getting to be that time isn't it? I saw the first tree lot going up. A sure sign Halloween is over for another year.
