Just Around the Corner

If you read here regularly you might already know one of my very favorite things to do during the Christmas season is to sit by the light of the Christmas tree.

I’m not sure exactly why the glow just there in the corner mesmerizes me so.

It’s very peaceful.

“Sebastian? How’d you get in there?”

I make sure to take a few photos because every year the tree looks a little different.

This is where you will find me late in the evening. I imagine Sebastian will be nearby humming Christmas carols and Topher will most likely find his way into my lap for a nap before going to bed.

Until later –

  1. Hi Sebastian,
I hope you had a paw in putting all the decomerations on Ginger's tree. It must have been fun if a little prickly.
I hope that as well as a nap on Ginger's lap you get at least one mince pie per night. After all it is Christmas and what's a bear to do other than pig out of mince pies before Christmas and Chrissy Cake from Christmas Day onwards. Burp!

  2. Your tree is beautiful. I get that same peaceful, tranquil feel when I sit and look at my tree. I am telling Wilbur not to climb up the branches, because he is too heavy and they will break off. He is just a tad jealous of Sebastian up on those branches.
    Hugs Kay

  3. Bee-u-tee-ful, Miss Ginger.

Merry December, and the beginning of The Twelve Days of Christmas. We do it backwards here, we count down before Christmas Day. It's just one of our little traditions.

Hugs to Sebastian, Katie, and Topher, oh, and Mr. Jay too.
    Prudence ♥

  4. Well Sebastian obviously got in there to get a better look at the sparkly lights, silly!
