Teddies Spring Show - 2014

Let’s get right to it, shall we? When I return from a show the first question people me ask is “How was it?” And my answer is always offered from my point of view. In this case, there were some obvious numbers to report so that’s where I will begin. Then I will share photos of each artist’s table that I took before the show opened.

This sweet sparrow made by none other than the amazing Cindy Malcoff.

There were 13 artists in attendance. Some excellent ones to be sure but we missed several of our comrades who had to cancel due to illness or another commitment. So naturally it was a much more intimate show.

Pretty in pink by Joyce Yates.

The number of people through the door was off and I can only guess that some of it was due to the same reasons – and maybe the rainy and cold weather had something to do with it as well. All that being said, I had a really great time because it had been more than a year since I had seen my bear artists friends and I missed them!

Jackie Melerski’s signature look.

So rather than the hubbub of a beehive-like atmosphere, it was more akin to an extended coffee klatch with artists and collectors catching up and visiting.

Created by the talented hands of Darlene Allen

It was very relaxed which I appreciated and even so, a few of my bears found new homes. I hope they will behave themselves in their new surroundings!

Cindy McGuire made this oinker!

Here are the photos I promised. If you click on them, you can see them larger and get more details. Enjoy!
