There once was an artist . . .

who had a dog named Topher. Here he is looking out the window of the car making sure nothing escapes his watchful eye.

who, in spite of her best efforts to keep things clean, gets all manner of things on her work surface – including sawdust.

who took this photo of a cigar box last June (yeah, really in 2013!) and thought at the time this was going to be a completed project before the end of the year. She’s so funny – and optimistic.

who is just now getting around to turning that box into something although she is fairly certain that it is probably not the same idea she had back then. (She also says there are more photos to come.)

who had a wonderfully delicious burger with a wonderfully delightful guy who she also happens to be married to.

who took the following photo one morning while enjoying the lovely sunshine on a walk with The Tophenator.

who finally got star lanterns hung in the recently completed screened porch with the invaluable help of the same guy mentioned above with the burger.

who snapped this picture of her dog monitoring the progress of a robin in the back yard.

who is grateful to her husband for stopping to let her pick dandelions in a parking lot without raising an eyebrow or asking any questions – as if this type of behavior is normal. It is, isn’t it?

  1. Dear Ginger, the Trophinator has such a beautiful face. Have you ever tried to make a dog to look like him? I love the photo of the trees, they look so tall.
I'm so glad you have a wonderful soul mate that puts up with collecting rocks and thistle seeds and pods... I know you are a girl after my own heart.

    1. Hi Kay,

Thank you so much! I haven't tried to make a dog - or one like Topher. I'm not sure why not since I have made cats, bunnies, pigs and elephants! I wonder how our trees around here compare to yours in height. Yes, I feel lucky about my guy. I think he would like to come with me to Australia so we can pick thistle seed and rocks and stuff on the other side of the world! Wilbur can advise us!

      hugs,

  2. Ah, bee-u-tee-ful pictures, and I sure hope, Miss Ginger, that you made a wish before you blew the wisher, that's what Mom calls them. (o:

Giggle, I see that Topher has his given name and 1000 variations - just like here with Molly & Jessie. (o: Give Sebastian a hug please, from me. ♥

    1. Hi Prudence,

Thank you so much! You have to be quick to make a wish on a windy day don't you?

Yes, it didn't take us long to come up with 1000 variations - I suppose he answers to most of them! Ha ha!

I will give Sebastian a hug and I'm sure he would want to send one back to you too!

I will try to get some good photos of our porch on a nice day and post them. I'm glad you asked. I'll work on it.

      hugs,

    1. Hi Jack, Boo & The Clan,

Yes, I think she did and I think her husband was wishing that the dandelions don't take up residence too close to home! ;D

      hugs,
