when we came to the UK on a whirlwind trip of teddies and touring: our kids, my dad, his mom, my sisters (& their spouses), our dog and our USA friends. What we have discovered is that while we have missed them immensely,
Kensington Gardens remote controlled sailboats
we have been thrilled to meet so many wonderful and kind people – some of them for the first time; many of them bloggers.
Sky Mirror – part of a 4-piece temporary art installation by Anish Kappor in Kensington Gardens
I know I missed meeting a few and I am a wee bit disappointed about that but maybe there will be a next time.

It’s also been great while we have been here to hear from so many of you in the form of emails and comments.
The Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens with Sebastian
You all have really gotten into the spirit of things with Sebastian’s missives and the crazy reports from the traveler in me.
Yep, that’s definitely Sebastian!
My family has been able to keep up with us going here & there through this blog. I hope you have enjoyed our adventures too.
Sebastian visits a very big bear. Can you see him?
Very soon now it will be time for me to return to my studio and the life back home we love.
There he is. Tucked inside the lapel of the very big bear.
Thank you – to those we have met, to those we keep in our hearts and to those who have advised, instructed, counseled and helped us along the way. We had a great time in the UK and look forward to returning again one day. You all are what we leave behind now.
A shot from inside the Victoria & Albert Museum – a real jewel.
In the meantime, I am looking forward to diving into my new supplies with some ideas I hope to bring to fruition. It might take me a couple of days to get up and running especially with memories of our trip fresh on my mind. I hope our dog remembers us!!!
Check out all of these seagulls lined up in a row – also from Kensington Gardens. Yea, we were there for quite a while!
Thank you all – the best readers, bloggers, friends & family!
Hi Sebastian,
ReplyDeleteBoy, it will be soooo good to get back in your own bed at home.
Was that a fountain you were sitting in? Did your "hiney" get wet - sure hope not. )o:
I love the "lapel" picture. You are quite a little adventure bear. I love you.
Safe travel, little friend, and to your humans too. Safe travel home.
Heaps of Hugs
Prudence
Ginger, you've done thing I've always dreamed of - visiting Peter Pan's statue in Kensington Gardens. Thanks for the picture - it's probably the closest I'll ever come.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've had a great trip, and I'll bet Sebastian sleeps all the way home. He'll be bragging to all the other bears about the trip, I'm sure. Safe journey home!
