I have wanted to see how this mohair makes up. It is probably the shortest, sparsest, mohair I have used. It was easy to sew which was quite fun. I had no idea when I began if I would like the finished teddy or not. It seems my method here lately is to give it another go. This is the same size and pattern as Sebastian. I saw them hanging about together. I think they might be plotting something – always a worrisome thing.

    1. Hi otterine,

Thank you and they do look quite innocent for now. We'll see.

  3. What fun for Sebastian to have another friend to ... spend time with ... sounds so much better than plotting :-)

    1. Hi Bonnie,

Sebastian trains them and then sends them into the world with instructions to make him proud. He's the chief hugger and sender-outer.

    1. Hi Prudence,

Sebastian says to tell you hi. He and his new friend are busy rooting around in the cupboards. I better go see what they are up to.

Thanks and hi back to you,

  5. Not a worry in the world. They look mates for life.
I have some fabric like that, and have looked at it for several years and haven't made it up. Seeing yours I must take up the challenge. If I could make it look as good as your little chap I would be happy.

    1. Hi Kays Kids,

I think you should give it a try and hang on until the end because I couldn't see that it looked like much until then. I look forward to seeing it if you go for it.

  6. He looks very sweet!! However, it's the quiet ones that you have to watch out for. Be careful--they do look like they might be up to some mischief.

    1. Hi Cheryl,

How well I know about the quiet ones. That's what they used to say about me when I first went to work in the 'real' world for a time. Uh oh! I'm in trouble now.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  7. He's a cutie and looks like he and Sebastian have hit it off. I'm sure Sebastian will be a good influence on him so I would worry too much. Hugs

  9. Aww, we love him! Jack says they're definitely plotting something though, something to do with the tilt of the head...

    1. Hi LT, The Clan and Jack,

I'm so glad you and others like this little guy! At times, I'm not always sure how something will go over. If anyone would know and understand about the plot, it would be Jack. He's got a true depth of knowledge unmatched by many!

  10. That fur really suits your new bear - he's lovely! I've used this type of mohair quite a bit in smaller bears (up to 10"), and it works well. I'd keep an eye on those two, though - they do look as if they're up to something.

    1. Hi Kayzy,

Thank you for reading and for your contribution here at bearbits! I'll have to try this mohair on a larger bear adn see how it turns out. Sometimes the size change throws me for a loop with a new fabric. I will keep an eye on them as far as is possible!
