or How I Made Friends with the Little Green Men
Sebastian here to tell you a story. This one begins when a spaceship full of Little Green Men landed in our kitchen. They filed out of their tiny little spaceship one after the other. They kept coming and coming. I don’t know exactly how many there were but it was a lot!
They wanted me to be their leader.
I had to run and go ask you-know-who what it was exactly that a leader did. She told me “a leader is one who leads. A leader can lead all kinds of things.” She suggested I lead them in games. It sounded like a good idea to me so I ran back to the kitchen and told them I would be happy to be their leader.
They held my hands and shouted, “Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray!”
I felt a great responsibility being their leader so I had to come up with a plan very quickly.
I gathered them all together and announced, “I am going to lead you in some activities.”
“Does anyone have any questions? If so, raise your hands.”
“Anyone? No, okay then. We’ll get started.”
The first activity is going to be jumping jacks. Here we go. “One, two. One two. One two.”
“Okay, well done all you Little Green Men. Let’s see how good you are at following instructions. Follow the leader!”
“Here’s another good game. I call it Sebastian Says. It’s very much like Simon Says, but you know, I’m not Simon. Sebastian says, raise your left hand. Ha ha! Got several of you guys. You’re out!”
“Now for some gymnastics. This requires some skill so be very careful. If you do well with this, I think you will qualify for the ultimate activity.”
“Very nicely done, my little alien friends. You’re so good, I’m going to teach you Synchronized Swimming!”
“I think it’s time for a break. Let’s have a Sing-Along. And a one, and a two, and one, two three.”
By then it was nearly time for my supper and the Little Green Men had to return to their planet. Before they got back in their spaceship, they climbed onto my lap and told me that I was the best leader ever and that they loved me.
I whispered back to them, “I love you too! Come back and play again anytime.”
Aw, that's a great story! :D

Wow, space men landed at your place Sebastian, How is that???? What a shock to see green men coming out of that ship. You were the best leader, I'm sure they will come back for more.
ReplyDeleteHugs Wilbur
Hi Wilbur,
DeleteOh, no worries - it was fun! Next time they land you should come over and play with us! It merrier with more. That's not how that saying goes but you get the idea right?
hugs,
Sebastian
I wonder who had most fun?! X
ReplyDeleteHi Granny K!
DeleteMy dear Granny K - I don't know the answer, but I can tell you I had an awful lot of fun myself. We need to do it again!
hugs,
Sebastian
Hi Sebtian,
ReplyDeleteWelllllll, I am certainly more comfortable knowing those aliens are friendly and like teddy bears. Whew.....
Happy Weekend,
Prudence ♥
Hi dear Prudence,
DeleteYes, they are very friendly. I wanted to keep them all in my bottom drawer so we could play together in the middle of the night when there's absolutely nothing going on here. I hope you have a great time at camp!
hugs,
Sebastian
Sebastian!
ReplyDeleteWe know the exact same group of Aliens! They followed us home on one of our trips to the Magic Kingdom! I think they're the friendliest little guys and you're very lucky that you got to spend such a fun time with them!
Hugs to you and your "Mum"!
Michelle:)
Hi Michelle,
DeleteYea! It's good to know they were not a figment of my imagination! I did wonder what planet they came from so now I know their planet is "Magic Kingdom". Cool!
Yeah, it was great fun - kinda magical!
hugs,
Sebastian
Golly gee Sebastian, you have had quite a 'citing week haven't you. Tasting all those cup cakes must have strained your seams, but I'm glad you enjoyed your 4th of July.
ReplyDeleteI've been to lots of places but I've never met wee green men, so you are very lucky too. They seem to be fun to be with so that's a relief.
Hugs,
Jock
Hi Jock,
DeletePerhaps I should have a limit on the cupcakes but well, they are just so darn tempting and well, I do have a little wiggle room in my seams so I suppose it's fairly easy for me to get away with it.
If the Little Green Men come back, I'll let you know. Maybe you could meet them too!
hugs,
Sebastian
Gotta love it when new friends drop in unannounced! You were obviously an excellent leader (well, except perhaps for the crowd surfing at the beginning) maybe they'll come and play with us next...
ReplyDeleteJack and The Clan
Hi Jack and The Clan,
DeleteYes, it does provide much excitement doesn't it? Unlike you know who, I don't have to worry about whether I'm wearing something that is presentable for the unexpected drop-ins. She goes on about the strings and the fluff - and well, I don't have that problem. I have no clothes to worry about most of the time.
Ah, the crowd surfing. Yes, that was a new experience for me. Their antenna were a bit pokey in my behind parts but you know, with great power come great repercussions or something like that.
hugs,
Sebastian
Wow, where did all these little green men come from?! Your name must have travelled further than you know, Sebastian. You can probably expect more visits, perhaps even from little red, blue, purple men from the other planets. Geez, that must be fun! I've been getting visits from my overseas friends the last 3 months, and boy, I know how busy it can get. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteHi Val,
DeleteIt seems the Little Green Men come from the planet called Magic Kingdom. They arrived in a rocket spaceship and they seemed to enjoy their visit with me. I don't know if they have other colored cousins but around here, the more the merrier and the more colorful, the more colorful. Uh, well, that didn't go over like it sounded in my head. Have fun with your visitors! If you run out of things to do, it's a real hoot teaching them synchronized swimming. Give it a go and see what happens!
hugs,
Sebastian
hehehehe!
