View from my Porch

This is the time of year that I really love – once the pollen goes away. I don’t know if it is ever any greener around here than it is in April.

We have some flowers that are blooming as well. It makes it a challenge to work in the studio when these are putting on a show.

I am partial to pink flowers . . .

until one of another color sprouts!

The azaleas and our columbine are the first ones to display their petals. I’m waiting for my bleeding hearts and the peonies to make their appearance soon.

When they do, I might have to take my bears and projects outside and pretend to work out there.  I’m also wondering if there is anything blooming in your neighborhood.

    1. Hi KittyAnnArt,

I remember seeing the information about the Azalea festival. It must be quite a sight! One of these days I might even be able to get there for it. In the meantime, thanks for sharing the photos. It was fun seeing the gardens!

  3. I love your garden. We must like the same things because I have azaleas just the same as yours. There is not a lot flowering in my Garden at the moment because it is late Autumn here. I have some lovely purple Salvia's, and a few of the late roses. All the Autumn foliage is beautiful. We are so lucky for nature to put on a new dress every season.

    1. Hi Kay,

Thank you. I was kind of curious at what stage your part of the world was in this time of year. Wouldn't it be fun to see in person what the other's location was like? I'm sure it would be some the same and some different from how I imagine it!
