This little weekend post is brought to you by the letters H, B, S and P. Greetings to all of you, especially Summer. Yes, Summer has officially arrived for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. Yea. S is for Summer.
Being Summer and all that, it is prime Porch sittin’ weather. P is for Porch.
Growing by leaps and bounds next to our Porch this Summer, we have our Blooming Blue Hydrangea. B is for Blooming and Blue.
The color of this Hydrangea is so brilliant it almost exactly matches our House. H is for Hydrangea and House.
Next to the hydrangea is an Easter Lilly that we unceremoniously planted a couple of years ago because we didn’t know what to do with it. Last year a bunny or a deer ate its leaves, but look at it this year.
Amazing and well . . . just amazing. We almost always have no clue what we’re doing when it comes to these sorts of things.
And the hydrangea? Well, near the bottom there are a few purple and pink blossoms – same plant. Go figure. P is also for Purple and Pink.
On behalf of the letters H, B S and P, I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Your Blue hydrangeas gave me so much joy. The colour is amazing. I hope you enjoy a warm summer.

Hi Miss Ginger, Happy Second Day of Summer.
ReplyDeleteWe love these bee-u-tee-ful Hydrangea, and the Easter Lily too. Mom tells us bears that when a bunny or a deer nibbles on a plant or tree that it's natures way of pruning so that next year we will have lovely flowers to enjoy.
Heaps of Saturday Hugs, & Hi, Sebastian!

Your hydrangeas are so pretty - thanks for sharing them with us! Happy Summer!

ReplyDeleteHi to Sebastian.
*Achoo* Glad summer got to you, alas, it hasn't followed us home from France...
