Me (Sebastian) in Portland – Part Two

Okay, I’m rested and ready to show you more important parts of Portland that I visited.

There was a trip to the public library where I met loads of animal friends, like this birdie, in the children’s department.

First of all, he lives on a tree with all the other animals.  Not only that, the tree is inside.  I think if I had one of these at my house, all my friends and I could have loads of fun.  I’ll have to work on that.

Next, I found a lovely place to hang about and get refreshed at the same time.

They tell me these things, called Benson Bubblers, are famous and can only be found in Portland with one or two exceptions.  At home we would call this a water fountain, but then they aren’t quite this elaborate.  I wouldn’t mind having one of these either.

I could play in it on a hot and sunny day in North Carolina.  Looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me when I get back.

Lastly, I perched here in the shade for a bit.

This fine fellow is called a Rosarian.  I met him in the rose garden.  His mission is much like mine.  He is there to greet visitors and make them feel welcome.

I hope I am doing a good job.  I think I need a smart hat like this fellow has.  That might help.

  3. Sebastian... you managed to get your own car so I don't think there is a goal out there that you can't achieve! You are one determined little bear! Thanks for the travel updates and have fun!

  5. Oh we definitely think you need one of those bubble thingies in your garden at home, bear sized sprinklers to play in in the sun! We think you need a hat too...
