A Little Neighborhood

Hi ho everyone! Sebastian here to scoot in with a little adventure I had recently. We were in Asheville a few days ago where I discovered the most amazing little village. It all began with a walk up this innocuous street.

And if you are not bear sized like me you might just miss it.

But I had a tip from someone who understands about wee bears like me and this little sweet pea told me to keep my eyes open for a place not on any map (yet, anyways). Do you see it?

Look down.

Way, way down.

There you go. A little neighborhood that exists right under (literally) the noses of most passersby.

I wanted to knock on every door to see who lived there

but then I remembered my manners and decided that it isn’t polite to drop in on people you don’t know unannounced.

So I settled for having my photo taken on one or two of their stoops and

hope they didn’t mind a bear being just outside their door.

Perhaps if I get a chance to visit again, I will take pots of flowers to adorn their doorways. Then maybe they will invite me in for milk and cookies.

Hm-m-m-m.  Milk and cookies.  That sounds like a fine idea!

Until next time,

    1. Hi Prudence,

I think you will have fun going on an adventure to find the neighborhood. As a bear, you won't have any difficulty finding it - and don't miss stopping in the chocolate shops!

      Yummy!

      hugs,
      Sebastian

  3. Hi Sebastian, I think milk and cookies sounds wonderful. Perhaps you could take some cookies to give them. Then they wouldn't mind making you a glass of milk.

    1. Hi Miss Kay,

I think taking cookies is a very good idea! I might even take a whole picnic and then see if everyone wants to share it.

      hugs,
      Sebastian

  4. Hey Sebastian,
Those look like cool houses and just at bear height. No humins could get in so there would be less competition for the hunny and bistics. We hope you get to visit properly sometime.
    Hugs,
    Jock and Zeke
