We love sunflowers. One year back home Mom grew some and then in the fall dried the flowers and harvested the sunflower seeds for the birds - boy, did they enjoy that.

You know they're getting cheeky when they steal the sunflowers from the flower and fly them over to your bird feeder to drop them off, then stare at you pointedly.
We have them drop by the feeder once or twice a year...if sunflowers will bring them by more often, I will plant some next year or ask Honey Bear to...I love seeing them..it is a gift from God, a blessing. Mama Bear
