I thought I would share some photos taken throughout the day today. The highlights mainly – not things like brushing my teeth. Later, if you’re willing, I’d like your opinion on something.
My husband got a glimpse of this photo and thought it was a hushpuppy but it’s actually the start of a bear that for one reason or another I felt compelled to create. I put others in progress aside for the moment.
Later around lunchtime, I was in the kitchen and snapped these photos. This one is of the bouquet my husband brought home to me from the Farmer’s Market.
This one is of some roses I bought to decorate the tables for the dinner we had here Monday evening. Of course I told everyone that I grew them from seed that very morning. I don’t know why they didn’t believe me.
After lunch I worked a bit more on the ted head. Nose & eyes-
After dinner, it was raining a little. Not a downpour, but a light rain. Not so much that you couldn’t get out and walk in the park.
So that is what we did. That’s where I took this photo of the Andy Griffith statue with flowers left recently in his memory
and this one of the rain on the pond . . .
and on the bridge.
Then we stopped for coffee after which
we went home and I returned to work on the giant. Actually size is relative. This new bear will only be six inches tall but next to the small one, he seems rather large by comparison.
Here’s your chance to offer input by voting on one of the following photos I took while we were at the park. I couldn’t choose just one because I liked them all for different reasons. So I decided to let you pick your favorite – if you want. Just leave a comment with the number of your favorite – you don’t have to say why unless you want to.
Now, I’m off to watch the rain – unless it has stopped.
