I pulled this piece of fabric out the other day, feeling it was time to give it a try.
After working with it I have come to believe it is viscose with a finish that is new to me. I have delved into the recesses of my memory but still cannot remember where I bought it.
I rather like experimenting with different fabrics and I am beginning to wonder how a different style bear would look out of this one.
But first, there is another piece I came across while looking for this one and well, I might just have to go with the flow.
Looks like a little brother is coming along Sebastian.

You know, that happens to me too...I am planning one thing and then get side tripped into something else and then I forget what I meant to be doing until later.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Mama Bear
Same here! I have so many little bears started that it's a hodgepodge of parts in my sewing room! I sometimes lose ear pieces and forget whose legs or arms go with what bodies and so on!
ReplyDeleteI love to work with vintage fabrics similar to that beautiful viscose! Remember the old gold drapes from the 70's? Ewwwwww...but they make great bears!
Enjoy!

Ohhh, Jack approves of the new family member. LT got some viscose at her fair in the Lakes a few weeks ago but she hasn't had a chance to play with it yet.. :o(
