When I got up this morning I was quite surprised by the scene right outside my window. Even though it was a bit drizzly, I was still quite taken aback by the display of blooms on our Bradford pear tree.
It is almost like it bloomed overnight and once the sun came out later in the day I could almost believe that spring had already arrived.
I am a bit hesitant to get too attached to these pleasant temperatures and the beautiful sunshine in case winter hasn’t yet fully said goodbye,
but I do love the looks of it. Not only that, our front porch seems to be whispering that I should come and sit for a while – to enjoy the short lived blooms before they go away.
It is a bit strange to have a porch that does that sort of thing, but I’ve never known a porch, of any size or shape that didn’t. Or is that just me?
Oh I'm so glad you have a porch that says that, because mine does as well.

Oh what gorgeous pictures!! I do believe spring is on its way - a tree in our neighbor's yard burst into bloom on Sunday, and with the green grass, birds, and temperature hovering around 70, I think spring has come a little early this year! At least where I live. :) Thanks for sharing your pictures!
ReplyDeleteI like your white better than the white I woke up to,snow :-(. Teddy would like Sebastian to come for his next birthday. LOL
